There are chances, that Slovenian and Italian site (Kanin - Sella Nevea) will be connected in next few years (2006,2007,?). It depends on connection from Italian site (specialy on finances).
In September 2005 Slovenian building firm 'Primorje' started constructing new 4-seat chair lift 'Prevala'. It is on slovenian site of Kanin. It goes from upper station of 3-chair lift Podi, over hill - saddle to Italian border on Sella Nevea. On the top of hill - saddle (Sedlo), there will be intermediate station.
New lift is marked with violet colour

Beside new chair lift, there will be also new ski-piste (marked with yellow). It will be 843 m long (2284m � 2064m).
New char lift should be bulit till January 2006, but it will be finished earlier, so there is posibility, that new lift will be opened around Christmas. It depends on weter, because it is very changeable in mountains.
Building this chair lift was very dificult, because of height above sea level (from 2000 - 2200 m). Few weeks ago were placed 14 pillars (with helicopter).
